नवराज त एउटा प्रतिनिधि मात्र हुन् 

गैर दलित भएपनि मेरो बिचार निकै फरक छ । एकदमै साँचो रुपमा भन्दा मेरा दलित साथिहरु पनि हुनुहुन्छ म उहाँहरूलाई कत्ति पनि चित्त दुखाउन चाहन्न किनकि म जातभातमा विस्वास गर्दिन ।
मलाई सधैं लक्ष्मीप्रसाद देवकोटाको " मानिस ठूलो दिलले हुन्छ जातले हुँदैन " भन्ने भनाई सम्झना अाउँछ । हुनपनि मन एउटै तन एउटै आखिर जात ठूलो र सानो भन्ने कुन धर्म र शास्त्रमा छ र । जात त केवल मानव निर्मित शासन हो । कथित ब्राह्मण जात सर्वोश्रेष्ठ भनेर मलाई यो दलित भन्ने शब्द पनि लेख्न मन लाग्दैन किनकि कसरी मानिस दलित र ब्राह्मण हुन्छ त्यो त दलितलाई हेप्ने नियम मात्र हो ।
कार्य बिभाजनको बेला जातको जन्म भएको हो । हुन त जातको जन्म हाम्रो देशमा मात्र भएको छैन । भारत,अफ्रिका जस्ता देशमा रङकै आधारमा काला र गोरा जातको संज्ञा दिईएको छ ।

मैले देखेको त मात्र दुईवटा जात पुरुष र महिला । त्यो बाहेक संसारमा कुनै जात छैन । श्रम र सीप चल्छ त पानी चल्दैन यो कत्ति सम्मको निच सोच हो । त्यहि दलितको रगत चल्छ तर पानी चल्दैन यो कति सम्मको अन्याय हो ।
हाम्रा पुर्वजहरूले रुढीबादी र अशिक्षाका कारण जातीय बिभेदको सृजना गरे । अब सोच बदल्नु छ । क्रान्ति आयो भनेर नारा लगाउँछन् त जरा अझै निस्किसकेको छैन । सोच एकतर्फी मात्र होइन अाज कुनै गैर दलितको दलितसँग मायाप्रेम पर्यो भनेपनि स्विकारने सोच अझै छैन । कति गैरदलित पनि गरिब छन् उनिहरु गैरदलित भएकै कारण सरकारबाट सुविधा पाएका छैनन् । गैरदलित हुनुको पनि पीडा छ सबैलाई हैन । मेरो मतलब हामी जात भनेर हिड्ँनु हुँदैन ।
रुकुम जाजरकोटमा दलित नवराज बिश्वकर्मा र र गैरदलित सुस्मा मल्लठकुरी बीचको प्रेम सम्बन्धका कारण दलित नवराज बिकको साथै उनका साथिभाइहरुले खाएको कुटपिट र नवराजसँगै ६ जनाले आफ्नो प्राण नै गुमाउदा अाज सिङ्गो नेपालनै शोकमग्न भएको छ ।
जातकै कारण आज नवराजले कलिलो उमेरमा ज्यान गुमाउनुर्दा निकै दु:ख लागेको छ । अझैपनि हाम्रो मानसिकता बद्लिसकेको छैन ।यो अब कहिले सम्म नवराजजस्ता हजारौं नवराजहरुले आफ्नो ज्यान गुमासकेका छन् । जातिय विभेद अन्त्य गर्न दलित सँगै गैतदलित पनि लाग्यौं । मानिस सबै एउटै हो ।रगत सबैको रातो नै हुन्छ किन विभेद ।
घटना घटिसकेको छ नवराज हामी माज कहिल्यै नफर्कनेगरि गैसकेका छन् साथमा उनका ५ जना साथीभाइ पनि । अब नवराजको आत्माको शान्तिको लागि भएपनि अब जातिय विभेद हटानुनैपर्छ ।जो दोषी छन् यो घटनामा उनिहरुले दण्ड पाउनु नै पर्छ साथमा सबक पनि सिकाइनु पर्छ अब आइन्दा नवराज जस्ता कसैको पनि जातका कारण अकालमा ज्यान नजाओस् । हामी हामी नै मिलेर भिस्मप्रतिज्ञा गर्नु जरुरी छ र जातको निच सोचलाई सदासर्वदा यो दिमागबाट फाल्दिनु पर्छ ।

Nawaraj is just a representative

Although I am a non-Dalit, my views are very different. In fact, my Dalit friends are also there. I don't want to hurt them because I don't believe in caste.
I always remember Laxmi Prasad Devkota's saying, "A man has a big heart, not a caste." However, in which religion and scripture the mind is the same body, the same caste, big and small. Caste is only man-made rule. I don't like to write the word Dalit as the so-called Brahmin caste is the best because how a person becomes a Dalit and a Brahmin is just a rule to despise Dalits.
Caste was born during the division of labor. Of course, caste was not born only in our country. In countries like India and Africa, black and white are termed on the basis of color.
I have seen only two castes, men and women. Apart from that, there is no caste in the world. If labor and skill work then water doesn't work. This is a low thinking. The blood of the same Dalit flows but the water does not flow. This is an injustice.

Our ancestors created caste discrimination due to conservatism and illiteracy. Now we have to change our thinking. They shout that the revolution has come, but the roots have not yet sprouted. Thought is not only one-sided. Even if a non-Dalit falls in love with a Dalit today , there is no thought of accepting it yet. No matter how many non-Dalits are poor, they have not received any facility from the government because they are non-Dalits. Not everyone suffers from being a non-Dalit. I mean we should not walk as a caste.
In Rukum Jajarkot, Dalit Nawaraj Bishwakarma and non-Dalit Susma Mallathkuri were beaten up. Dalit Nawaraj BK and his friends due to their love affair and six people lost their lives along with Nawaraj.
It is very sad that Nawaraj lost his life at an early age due to caste. Our mentality has not changed yet. How long have thousands of Nawarajs like Nawaraj lost their lives? To end caste discrimination, we joined hands with Dalits. People are all the same. Everyone's blood is red, why discrimination.
The incident has already taken place. Nawaraj never can be been able to return, along with five of his friends. Now, even for the peace of Nawaraj's soul, now caste discrimination must be removed. Those who are guilty in this incident must be punished and lessons must be learned. It is necessary for us to make a vow and we must get rid of the base thinking of the caste forever.
