It is to some extent if the employee is fulfilled with the job then he is motivated, content, and happy with his work.it is simply the range of contentedness with the job.it is also measured by the employee's behavior and nature. Job satisfaction is the feeling of pleasure and fulfillment towards the job. It is a degree of enjoyment towards jobs. Satisfied employees are the greatest assets of any organization. Many factors are behind job satisfaction which is paying great role in making any employees either excited to work or demotivated towards the work. Fresh employees are learning skills and they are happy with low pay also but after gaining some skills and knowledge over a period of time. They will be dissatisfied with the minimum wage as their needs and wants will grow. Research on job satisfaction began in earnest in the early 1930s. Research published in the 1930s showed an interest in more varied aspects of work experience. Job satisfaction is defined as the degree to which individuals feel positive or negative about their jobs. It is a multidimensional response toward work and workplace environment and improves positive energy and performance. It can be considered as a generalized feeling about the job or as a related constellation of attitudes about various aspects or facets of the job. Job satisfaction depends on many factors, and a person may be satisfied with one or more aspects of his/her career, but at the same time, maybe unhappy with other elements. As per the motivator-hygiene theory by Herzberg, job satisfaction and dissatisfaction are not two opposite ends of the same spectrum but instead are two unrelated concepts.
